Autumnal Equinox and Cell Phone Batteries
Autumnal Equinox (better known as fall) is upon us again. Join with me as I mourn the end of summer. Farewell grass cutting, seasonal allergies and skunks. Welcome yellow leaves, cool winds and dark evenings.
Now on to other things: Cell phone battery safety. Once again these are taken from my favorite web site CPSC.
Now on to other things: Cell phone battery safety. Once again these are taken from my favorite web site CPSC.
- Do not crush, puncture or put a high degree of pressure on the battery
- Do not place the phone in areas that may get very hot, such as on a cooking appliance, iron, or radiator.
- Do not get your phone or battery wet.
- Avoid dropping the cell phone. Dropping it, especially on a hard surface, can potentially harm the battery.
These people are geniuses. Without their help I might have placed my phone on the stove or thrown it on the floor. When you have a chance, send an e-mail thanking them for their help and concern for our safety. I know I will. I will also continue to search the internet for tips such as these to share with you. As I always say, safety is everyone's concern. If you have any tips you would like to share fell free to post them in the comments area.
Over the next few weeks there will be some exciting things take place in my life. I hope to be able to keep you updated as they happen. So stay tuned!
